ORPHANS’ SANCTUARY is a Christian founded Uganda based registered Non-Profit Charity Organisation/Orphanage dedicated to helping underprivileged children and orphans reach their maximum potential through intervention and empowerment initiatives.
ORPHANS’ SANCTUARY was put in place in 2013 and has since won prominence in Namutumba District because of the tremendous impact that it has made in the lives of Orphans and Underprivileged Children.
OBJECTIVES
- TO SECURE AND PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE, EDUCATION, SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL NEEDS TO ORPHANED CHILDREN.
- TO PROVIDE HIV/AIDS AWARENESS IN SCHOOLS AND AMONG UNDERPRIVILEGED COMMUNITIES AROUND THE DISTRICT.
- TO ERADICATE POVERTY.
- TO ENCOURAGE PARENTS/GUARDIANS TO TALK TO THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT REALITY OF HIV/AIDS PANDEMIC AND AND DANGER OF THE DISEASE
- TO PROVIDE A SAFE HAVEN FOR ORPHANS AND INDIGENT CHILDREN
educate a child
Educate-A-Child is a scheme created to provide access to quality education by awarding scholarships to underprivileged students in secondary schools. The scholarship fund will be managed by trusted and respected stakeholders with a proven reputation for integrity and trustworthiness.
Clean water 4 all
Water4all is a community project with a focus to provide free clean water for rural communities where such amenity is lacking. We plan to officially launch the flagship of Water4All in Namutumba District.

ORPHANS’ SANCTUARY is a safe haven for orphans, built to offer love, stability, hope and security. A home where orphans are nurtured with affection and care that fate deprived them of having from their parents or guardians.
At OS, we believe when those who have come together with those who don’t have, wonders happen. Hopes are ignited and the future is once again reassured.

Become a volunteer
One of the greatest gifts any individual can give to himself is to make a difference. No matter how small the effort, it counts towards making the world a better place. You can volunteer your time, efforts and talents during our intervention and social reformation programmes.
Sponsor a child
Every year, benevolent families and individuals give financial support to hundreds of orphans through our Sponsor-A- Child programme. The kindness of these families and individuals has transformed orphans into brilliant, skillful and exceptional individuals in their respective endeavours.
HUNGER-FREE COMMUNITY PROJECT
Girl Child Skilling Project
This project aims at supporting and imparting technical skills, namely: Tailoring, Hairdressing etc into the teenage mothers, single mothers and all the girls that dropped out of school due to lack of school fees that is caused by the rampant poverty in our community.
